An environmental strategy for all of District 4170
The committee aligns District 4170 with an official strategic priority of Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation, opens funding opportunities such as Global Grants, and harnesses the collective potential of clubs, Rotaract, Interact, universities, partner organizations and companies.
Its work professionalizes environmental action, generates environmental, social and economic benefits, and positions District 4170 as an environmental leader within Rotary.

From technical training to measurable impact
Capacity building and planning
Train 80% of clubs, create a bank of 20 projects and formalize 5 strategic partnerships.
Implementation
Implement 15 environmental projects integrating social well-being, economic development and environmental protection.
Global funding
Submit 3 Global Grant applications and secure at least 2 approvals.
Expected impact
5,000 direct beneficiaries and 10,000 native trees planted, plus strengthened local capacity and sustainable projects.
